Le Petit Renouil comes from a north-facing clay-limestone hillside, a unique spot on the estate, where Cabernet Franc expresses itself with more freshness and length.

I chose to vinify it here without wood, only in tanks, to preserve its brilliance and let the fruit and flowers speak for themselves. The Merlot, present in the blend, adds roundness and binds the whole without making the wine heavy.

The terroir and exposure play a big role: they maintain tension, slow down maturity, and give the wine a somewhat different energy.

On the nose, there are floral notes of fresh red fruits, with great finesse.
On the palate, the texture is supple, silky, with very fine tannins and a beautiful freshness that carries the wine.

It's a wine I love for its precision: accessible young, fruity, but with enough depth to accompany a meal.
