L'An-Clos - 2024

L’An Clos was born during lockdown, out of a desire for movement in a frozen moment.

I conceived it as a wine contrary to what is often expected from Bordeaux: no oak, no excessive extraction, but instead lightness, fruit, and drinkability.

Made from Merlot grown on our sandy plots, it is crafted with gentle infusion to preserve the grape's vibrancy and achieve a supple texture, without harshness.

The wine remains true to this initial idea: free, accessible, alive.

On the nose, notes of fresh, crisp red fruits with a floral touch.
On the palate, it is light, fluid, with few tannins and a lot of freshness.

It's a wine for sharing, to open without waiting, equally suited for an aperitif or simple cuisine. It can be drunk slightly chilled, especially on warm days.
