L'Éclairée is a rather unique cuvée.

Basically, a Bordeaux Claret: Merlot, made into a light wine. But I add a touch of Colombard, a white grape variety, to shake things up and bring even more brilliance.

The result is difficult to classify — neither truly red, nor truly rosé. An in-between, which I like to call a "blouge" (blue-red).

The grapes are organically grown, and as with the rest of the vineyard, I primarily seek to let the wine find its balance.

On the nose, it's very expressive, with notes of strawberry and fresh fruit, with an almost candy-like quality.
On the palate, it's lively, taut, with a lot of freshness and real energy.

It's often a wine that surprises with the first sip — and makes you want to come back for more.

Drink slightly chilled, with a meal or as an aperitif: it pairs very well with summer meals, simple dishes, barbecues, shared moments.
